3 Essential Reasons To Release and Strengthen Your Pelvis

1. Reduce lower back pain: As many of us spend our days sitting down, at desks, in cars, on sofas, our glutes, (bum, backside, bottom, butt...) tend to "turn off." In addition our hip flexors can shorten and with the opposing glutes not functioning properly this can cause instability in the pelvis = lower back pain.

2. Reduce knee / ankle pain: If the pelvis is unstable, this can cause more instability further down the chain as other muscles have to compensate, pulling joints out of alignment. Releasing and strengthening the muscles of the pelvis will help to create stability in the lower body.

3. Better posture: Strengthening the pelvic muscles provides a solid foundation to support the spine from the bottom up and reduce compensations further up the chain.
