Release Your Shoulders Part 2

Join me for some simple, low impact Muscle Energy Techniques for Shoulder Rotation to stimulate the muscles and improve performance. Sometimes when we think muscles are “tight” they can actually be in “spasm” - which is not something you can necessarily feel but can prevent the muscles from functioning optimally. By using gentle contractions we can stimulate the muscles to get them working well again.

Be sure not to miss next week’s post for some complimentary exercises with Shoulder Rotation focus, to further release and strengthen in addition to the Muscle Energy Technique. Balancing the shoulders with the MET’s to release muscles in spasm, then building strength and stability can potentially relieve shoulder and neck tension and reduce the risk of injury.
